Multa lume se plange de durata de viata a bateriei la telefon, care este tot mai scurta odata cu aparita procesoarelor performante. Dar aceasta probleme se pot remedia… prin modificarea sistemului de operare! Mai jos aveti un ghid superdetaliat dedicat telefoanelor care au minim Android 4.0.3. Pentru a putea instala toate modurile necesare trebuie sa aveti Root la telefon, iar celor care doresc sa faca un Root rapid, le recomandam sa foloseasa acest program http://www.kingoapp.com/. Pentru a masura statisticile bateriei puteti folosi BetterBatteryStats sau Wakelock Detector.

Cateva setari de baza care trebuiesc facute:
Ecran
Luminozitatea ecranului trebuie setata manual, evitati modul auto, pentru ca acesta consuma mai mult curent din cauza senzorilor de lumina.
Reteaua GSM
Cand nu folositi internetul pe cartela, dezactivati datele 4G/3G, si puteti folosi programul Intelli3G pentru a schimba intre retele.
Wifi
Chiar daca aveti WiFi-ul oprit, telefonul tot cauta retele Wireless. Pentru a opri aceasta optiune definitiv duceti-va aici: Settings > Wifi > Options(Top right corner) > Advanced >Scanning always available(Off).
Locatie
Un alt serviciu care mananca baterie in exces este cel de locatie, care foloseste GPS-ul si reteaua GSM, asadar opriti aceasta optiune cand nu va este necesara.

Greenify
Greenify este un program care pune in hibernare aplicatiile inutile consumatoare de resurse, iar daca faceti o donatie (Donation) mica aveti acces la optiuni superutile. Dupa ce faceti o donatie puteti activa modul Greenify Xposed Module in Xposed. Dupa ce l-ati activat, porniti Boost Mode si Experimental Features
Iata o lista cu aplicatiile generale care trebuiesc puse in hibernare. Lista poate sa fie diferita in functie de aplicatiile pe care le utilizati si le aveti instalate. Nu puteti in hibernare aplicatia Dialer sau Messaging.

Amplify este printre cele mai bune module care salveaza bateria, acesta necesita varianta platita pentru a avea acces la toate functiile, dar dupa ce faceti o donatie puteti bloca Wakelocks si Alarms.

Power Nap este modul Sony Stamina portat pentru restul terminalelor care ruleaza Android 4.1+. Cand ecranul este oprit acesta pune toate serviciile in deep sleep. Pentru a primi notificari, puteti selecta aplicatiile care doriti sa fie in whitelist.
Setati Endurance Mode pe Always ON.
Power Nap poate fi folosit impreuna cu Greenify si Amplify.
If you use IMs and need Push Notifications,you have to whitelist those apps along with Greenify and Amplify.
Daca doriti sa primiti mesaje instant de pe Facebook sau alte servicii de mesajerie trebuie sa selectati aplicatiile in whitelist, de asemenea acolo trebuiesc puse si Greenify si Amplify. Nu stergeti din whitelist GooglePlayServices and GoogleServicesFramework, pentru ca acest lucru duce la nefunctionarea Google Apps.

Aveti posibilitatea de a folosi Privacy Guard pentru a opri cateva functii ale serviciilor Google Play Services si Google Services Framework
Navigati in Settings->Hacks->Check FIX OP_WAKE_LOCK
Opriti urmatoarele permisii pentru Google Play Services folosind AppOps

Oprimit permisiunea pnetru Google Services Framework

Folositi Auto Start Permission din AppOpsXposed pentru a opri aplicatiile la boot. Trebuie sa aveti grija sa nu opriti servicii necesare din System Apps.
